NARRATOR Now ladies and gentlemen , you’re about to hear the most incredible tale. It is the summer of 1903, and Henry Adams, an American business, has had some very bad luck. He is lost in London. He has no money and does not know what he should do. Walking down the street, he hears someone calling him.

The million pound bank note It took place in 1903.Two brothers, Roderick and Oliver, have make a bet. One believes that with a million pound bank note a man could survive a month in London. The other doubted it. Soon, they found a man in rags outside their house. They invite the man in the house. 

The man is called Henry Adams. The brothers gave Henry a million-pound-bank-note. And asked for him return it a month later. Henry went to a restaurant, and ordered a lot of food. At first, the waiter thought he couldn’t pay for the meal. When he took out the million-pound-bank-note, the boss was very surprised. And it was very kind to him.
