英语作文：读后感

I had read Pride and Prejudice when I was in senior high school .I just browsed .Even though I had a good browse. I only read the emotional entanglement from the leading characters .I felt a little up and down, so I’m immersed in it.
However, after I entered the university and saw a movie named To Be Jane Austen, I was fascinated by the story of Jane Austen deeply .I picked up my interests, held up this book, and decided to read it again.
I found this book is not only about love story, but also is an illustrate of the society in the late 18th century .Jane Austen perfectly reflected the relation between wealth and marriage at that time and gave the people in her works vivid characters .I remembered that the first sentence in the book is very impressive, that is because it was from Jane’s inspiration when she met someone who appeared her town someday.”It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.”The meaning is clear: the foundation of the marriage at that time is not emotion but possession .In fact, the marriage in her book is not the result of love, but the result of economic needs.
In fact, if the pride and prejudice existed all the time, these was not same emotion between Darcy and Elizabeth, let the ideal marriage alone .As Elizabeth observed Darcy’s methods of dealing with affairs, especially he changed the pride manner, she cleared up her misunderstanding and prejudice. Then they finally had a good marriage.
The book really reflected that women seek the personality independence and the equal rights. Pride and prejudice is the obstacle of love from Darcy and Elizabeth in the book, but it also is the obstacle of communication in our life, what’s worse, it is the obstacle of treating ourselves. So from now on, let’s treat others sincerely, understand others deeply, and we will find everything is beautiful.
